Snow Reporter's Message

WED APR 3, 9:40AM: Gates 1-5 are open

WED APR 3, 6:08AM:

Good morning, Sierra!

Here’s your mountain conditions report for Thursday, April 3rd, 2025.

It’s shaping up to be an incredible bluebird powder day up here! Temps stayed well below freezing overnight and will remain that way until about 11am today when things start to warm up just a bit. The forecast is calling for light variable wind today under sunny skies, with a high temp of 37F. There’s a 20% chance of snow after 3pm today, but we’re not expecting much if any accumulation out of it.

Caltrans has cleared the highways and lifted chain control, the path is clear – get up here and play in the snow ASAP! Planned operations today include Grandview, Nob Hill, Easy Rider, West Bowl, Short Stuff + 2 carpets. We’ll have a clearer picture of terrain park status closer to opening, the crews have been working nonstop to dig out and rebuild the parks features.

Today’s eateries will include 360, Baja, Mamas, The Pub, Java, and Grandbrew.

Season passes are on sale now, and for just $329 you can score a weekday pass to ski and ride up here Monday-Friday, with only 4 blackout dates, and tons of awesome perks. 2025-26 season passes purchased before the end of the season can be used for the rest of this season... and did I mention we’ve received exactly 100” of new snow since March 2nd?! Spring is looking good!

See ya on the snow!

-Mike
